Thanks for your votes on The Merry Farmer. I really wasn't expecting this so was in a panic this morning trying to think of a subject. A special thanks also goes to that someone who thought of the shot, and helped with it, like positioning, positioning, and repositioning the frog, and moving the tractor so that the frog was "in motion."
Try and get some shots of flowers THIS week. No shots taken prior to 3-27-05 are allowed. And if you think this isn't fair, you should see my photo gallery.
Congratulations on your Merry Farmer! It was super cute and moving after all!
Fresh Flowers--Awesome!!! One of my favorites! This should be a great week!
Things are working out so that I might be at Feast in Athens.

Hey Z. I think that Alicia and I will be going to the feast with you.
Tue 29-Mar-2005 07:28 Posted by:Megan

Has anybody read about the new paid accounts that Fotopages is introducing? We may all have to pitch in a buy one to have the storage that we need. Let's discuss.
I looked at that Marisa, if we want to pay I do not mind the idea. But I am not sold on using Fotopages. I think there are some better photopages out there.
Wed 30-Mar-2005 03:16 Posted by:Zandt
Yes, there's Flickr. I think we'd have to pay over there for as much activity as goes on. But a few bucks between us all should hurt anybody too much.

Echo sends her greetings to all from Egypt where she is on a mission trip. She solicits your prayers that they (a group of 20) have safety and be a blessing.
Also, she has looked forward to the spring flower topic all winter and is in sorrow to miss this great week at kosomo!
So go for it and have fun.
And, she may even show up at the feast in TX to show us her Egypt pictures!
I would agree with Z. Why not Pbase? 200 Meg for $20/year, 300 for $30, you could comment on individual photos, and there would probably be more outside traffic.

I'm plugging for Flickr, which would be free if we work it right. There's a lot of organizational powers over there, we could get a group and have a spree.
sorry, but all that icy blackness on pbase gives me the creeps.
Thu 31-Mar-2005 02:49 Posted by:roo
The icy blackness could give way to gray, blue, green, purple, PINK, or, (shudder) even white. It can be whatever color you want, normal, or html code for the whole spectrum. Pbase would be great.
Thu 31-Mar-2005 04:29 Posted by:BF
That's only because you already know how to use it.
Flickr.
Flickr.
Flickr.
Thu 31-Mar-2005 04:39 Posted by:Marisa
It looks like you get a whole lot more for your money with Flickr.
Thu 31-Mar-2005 18:15 Posted by:Zandt
so will they kick us off of fotopages if we don't pay?
Thu 31-Mar-2005 23:42 Posted by:roo
I think we still get a certain amount of storage and upload capacity, but we've already eaten up the first, and would greatly exceed the second.
Thu 31-Mar-2005 23:45 Posted by:Marisa
The pictures are trickling in, but the comments are not. Surely somebody has something to say?
Fri 1-Apr-2005 21:13 Posted by:Marisa
what's up with the floating hand in bridegroom? was that purposeful?
Sat 2-Apr-2005 16:24 Posted by:roo

Sat 2-Apr-2005 19:50 Posted by:Zandt
I am impressed with this weeks pictures. And i haven't even put on up yet.....
Sat 2-Apr-2005 19:59 Posted by:Zandt
hey z, are you still coming to the feast?
Sun 3-Apr-2005 01:29 Posted by:roo
and is there still a majority that wants to move to flickr and absorb the cost for those of us stingy individuals? (without credit cards)
Sun 3-Apr-2005 01:31 Posted by:roo
Yes, Roo I will be coming.
Sun 3-Apr-2005 01:49 Posted by:unnamed
If we each get our own username and just pool our photos in a group, there shouldn't be any need to pay on Flickr. Anonymous pictures would go, but there would be enhanced options otherwise.
good, we need to discuss t-shirt matters, although I'm sure you just want to get away from all that for a few days. (tough noogies!)
I'm up for giving Flickr an experimental run, without affecting the current flow of kosomo on fotopages.
Sun 3-Apr-2005 03:13 Posted by:roo

Sun 3-Apr-2005 04:09 Posted by:zandt
tshirts, tshirts, all I ever hear is about bloody tshirts.........
Sun 3-Apr-2005 04:10 Posted by:zandt
In relation to" the bridegroom", Nothing in particular! Although I knew about it before hand I used it because it was the best.

My extreme disorder of classifying things has led to the creation of a new page to keep a basic account of our doings here in the land of Kosomo. Since Z was kind enough to destroy his profiles page, I was able to take up the name on Blogger. I will try to update weekly with the winners. Any disputes or corrections are carefully sorted into the round file.
Thanks, Z. Someday I want my photo to be up there. Maybe this week will do it.
Sun 3-Apr-2005 23:07 Posted by:Marisa
hate to bring this up, but i've already found an error on the blog, me being the record keeper and everything. I'll be willing to share the records I've kept, if that would clear things up.
Mon 4-Apr-2005 02:41 Posted by:roo
is there anybody out there?
Mon 4-Apr-2005 03:55 Posted by:roo
could you tell a green field, from a cold steel rail?
Mon 4-Apr-2005 04:02 Posted by:roo
how can you have your pudding if you don't eat your meat?
Yes, roo, we're out here...should be in bed, but have been out fighting fire that threatened our evergreens...neighbor's field...but it's getting under control.
And, since most have voted by now, I'll share my link to some of the extra flower pictures we took this week...check 'em out--those who like flowers...It was a very flowerful week!
it's been a long weekend. We went to my uncle's confederate ball and civil war history day thing. It was great but after cleanup and such we didn't get to bed til about 5 AM then the sun came in the window and woke me up at about 11 so needless to say I have been short on my sleep so please forgive me if I don't make sense
